About the Team Rocket's Mewtwo ex Box

Team Rocket's Pokemon came back to the TCG in Scarlet & Violet Destined Rivals, released 30 May 2025. This box followed on 13 June 2025 and pairs Giovanni with Mewtwo.

The promo Mewtwo ex is a Basic with 280 HP. Its Power Saver Ability stops it attacking unless you have 4 or more Team Rocket's Pokemon in play. Once it can, Erasure Ball does 160 damage, plus 60 more for each Energy you discard from your Benched Pokemon (up to 2), so it tops out at 280.

Team Rocket's Giovanni is a Supporter. It switches your Active Team Rocket's Pokemon with one of your Benched Team Rocket's Pokemon, and if you do, pulls one of your opponent's Benched Pokemon into the Active Spot.
