Key Takeaways

  • PokeBeach reports that Pokemon TCG Flowing Fists releases on Friday 5 February 2027, with prerelease events from 23 to 31 January.
  • It is the English version of Japan's Aura Seeker, out on 27 November 2026. The Japanese cards get revealed first, so the card list leaks from Japan.
  • Mega Lucario Z ex headlines the set. It was previewed at the World Championships in August 2026.
  • The Pokemon Company has not published an English product list. Nobody can tell you the Elite Trainer Box promo yet, and anyone who does is guessing.
  • Our Delta Reign pre-orders opened about ten weeks before release. On that pattern, Flowing Fists pre-orders open in the last week of November 2026.

The Flowing Fists release date

PokeBeach reports Friday 5 February 2027 as the English street date. Australian street dates normally match the United States and the United Kingdom. So 5 February is the date to plan around here too.

Expect the digital release on Pokemon TCG Live to land one day earlier. That is what the last two sets did. Perfect Order went digital on 26 March 2026 and physical on 27 March. Pitch Black went digital on 16 July and physical on 17 July.

A street date is the day a set may legally be sold. It is not a promise that every product in the range turns up that morning. Big ranges arrive in waves, which the 30th Celebration spread over five months.

What is confirmed, what is reported

The Pokemon Company has announced nothing about Flowing Fists. Every date below traces back to PokeBeach's report, or to Japanese retailers who are already taking pre-orders for Aura Seeker. Both are solid enough to plan around. Neither is an official announcement, and we would rather say so than let you assume otherwise.

Aura Seeker, the Japanese parent set

English Mega Evolution sets are built from Japanese ones, and the Japanese set always comes first. Aura Seeker carries the set code M7 and releases on 27 November 2026. Japanese booster boxes hold 30 packs of 5 cards, and the main set is reported at 78 cards.

The card list, the artwork and the chase cards all become public when Japan releases. So late November is when you find out what is actually in Flowing Fists. That is ten weeks before you can buy it in English.

Put the last two sets next to each other and that gap is closing.

Japanese set Japanese release English set English release Gap
Storm Emeralda (M6) 31 July 2026 Delta Reign 6 November 2026 98 days
Aura Seeker (M7) 27 November 2026 Flowing Fists 5 February 2027 70 days

Delta Reign waited 98 days behind its Japanese parent. Flowing Fists is reported at 70. If you follow the Japanese releases, English is catching up to you.

Mega Lucario Z ex

Mega Lucario Z ex is the card the set is built around. It was previewed at the World Championships in August 2026, which is why it has been circulating for months without a set attached to it.

The Japanese set name is the clue to why Lucario. Aura Seeker comes from hadou, the Japanese word for the aura energy that has followed Lucario since its debut. The English name follows the same thread, pointing back at a Lucario set from more than a decade ago.

No attacks, HP or artwork have been officially published. Expect that to change when Japan reveals the set in November.

How big the set will be

PokeBeach reports around 80 main set cards plus roughly 40 secret rares, calling Flowing Fists a near one-to-one copy of a single Japanese set. That would put it with Perfect Order, Chaos Rising and Pitch Black, which were all small and close to their Japanese source.

Delta Reign did the opposite, and that is the part that does not add up. Japan's Storm Emeralda ran 76 main set cards. The English set came out at 103, because cards from the Japanese MEGA Starter Decks were folded in.

So the last set grew and this one is reported to stay small. Those cannot both be the rule. Until an English card list exists, anyone quoting you a firm set size is filling in a blank.

Products we expect to range

No English product list has been published. What follows is read off the last four Mega Evolution sets, so treat it as a forecast.

  • Booster Box, 36 sealed packs
  • Elite Trainer Box, 9 packs plus a full-art foil promo, sleeves, energy, dice and dividers
  • Booster Bundle, 6 packs
  • Sleeved booster packs
  • Three-pack blisters and checklane blisters
  • Build and Battle Box, sold at prerelease events before general release

The Elite Trainer Box promo is the detail people ask about first, and it is always revealed late. It is also never one of the headline Megas. Pitch Black gave it to Zarude and Delta Reign gave it to Kyogre. A Mega Lucario promo in the Flowing Fists box would break that run.

When Australian pre-orders open

Everything above comes from someone else's reporting. This part comes from our own order records.

Delta Reign released on 6 November 2026. Our Elite Trainer Box pre-order went live on 21 August 2026, and the Booster Box and Booster Bundle followed on 27 August. That is 71 to 77 days ahead of release, or roughly ten weeks.

Apply the same interval to 5 February 2027 and you land between 20 and 27 November 2026. That is within days of the Japanese release, which figures. Pre-orders tend to open once there is a real card list to pre-order.

So: late November 2026. We are not committing to it, and nobody honestly can until an English product list exists. When ours do open you will find them on the pre-orders page. Our pre-order terms explain how payment and dispatch work before you commit.

Prerelease events and the street date

Prerelease events run at participating Play Pokemon stores before a set goes on general sale. The Build and Battle Box is sold there first. Australian stores set their own event dates inside the window, so your local organiser is the one to ask.

The reported Flowing Fists window is 23 to 31 January 2027. Line that up against the last three sets and the interval comes out identical.

Set Prerelease window Street date Days from window opening
Chaos Rising 9 to 17 May 2026 22 May 2026 13
Pitch Black 4 to 12 July 2026 17 July 2026 13
Delta Reign 24 October to 1 November 2026 6 November 2026 13
Flowing Fists 23 to 31 January 2027 5 February 2027 13

Thirteen days, four sets in a row. That consistency is the best reason to trust the February date, because the two dates were almost certainly locked in together.

Not Furious Fists, and not the move

Three different things share this name, and search engines are currently mixing them up.

Pokemon TCG Flowing Fists is the upcoming Mega Evolution set on this page, due 5 February 2027.

Furious Fists is a real but different set. It came out in 2014 as part of the XY series and starred M Lucario EX. The new name nods at it deliberately, which is a nice piece of design and a headache for anyone searching.

Pokemon TCG XY Furious Fists booster pack from 2014, fronted by Mega Lucario
Furious Fists, the 2014 XY set that the new name points back at. We are showing it as an example only. No Flowing Fists packaging has been revealed, and the new set will carry Mega Evolution era artwork rather than this XY design.

Flowing Fists is also one of Urshifu's moves, and has nothing to do with the card game. If a result is talking about cooldowns or type matchups, that is the one you have found.

Flowing Fists questions, answered

Is Pokemon TCG Flowing Fists a real set?

Yes, but it has not been officially announced. PokeBeach reported the name, the 5 February 2027 release date and the prerelease window in October 2026. The Japanese set it is based on, Aura Seeker, already has live pre-orders in Japan. The Pokemon Company has published nothing yet.

When does Pokemon TCG Flowing Fists release?

Friday 5 February 2027, according to PokeBeach. Australian street dates normally match the United States and United Kingdom, so that is the date to plan around here. Prerelease events are reported for 23 to 31 January 2027.

Has Flowing Fists come out yet?

No. It is reported for 5 February 2027 and cannot be bought anywhere yet, in any language. The Japanese set it is based on, Aura Seeker, releases earlier on 27 November 2026.

What is Aura Seeker in English?

Aura Seeker is the Japanese set, code M7, releasing 27 November 2026. PokeBeach reports that its English version is called Flowing Fists and releases on 5 February 2027. The two are the same set in different languages, though English releases sometimes add cards from Japanese deck products.

How big is the Flowing Fists set?

Not confirmed. PokeBeach reports around 80 main set cards plus roughly 40 secret rares, which would make it a small set close to its Japanese source. Japan's Aura Seeker is reported at 78 main set cards. Note that Delta Reign grew from 76 Japanese cards to 103 in English, so the final English count can be larger.

Is Flowing Fists the Lucario set?

Yes. Mega Lucario Z ex headlines it, and was previewed at the World Championships in August 2026. The Japanese name Aura Seeker comes from hadou, the aura energy associated with Lucario. The full card list is not public yet.

How much will Flowing Fists cost in Australia?

No English or Australian pricing has been published, so any figure you see today is someone's estimate. We do not publish price guesses on unreleased sets, because they go stale and mislead people. Our prices go up when the product page does.

Is Flowing Fists a good investment?

We do not give investment advice or forecast what sealed product will be worth later. No card list, print details or product lineup have been published, so nobody judging this set today has much to go on. Buy sealed product because you want to open it or keep it.

When can I pre-order Flowing Fists in Australia?

Not yet. Our Delta Reign pre-orders opened about ten weeks before release, which would put Flowing Fists pre-orders in the last week of November 2026. We are not promising that date. Join the drop alert list on this page and we will email you when ours open.
