About the Pokemon Day 2026 Collection
Pokemon Day falls on 27 February, the date the first Pokemon games launched in Japan. 2026 was the 30th one. This box was the Pokemon Company's release for it and it reached retail on 30 January 2026.
Three booster packs is a modest count for the price, so the two anniversary pieces are what you are buying. The Pikachu promo is foil and carries the Pokemon Day stamp. The coin is metal and struck with the 30th anniversary logo. Through the window on the front you can see a Mega Evolution Phantasmal Flames pack, which places the box in the Mega Evolution era.
What's Inside the Packs
Pokemon does not name the three expansions on the box, and its own listing notes that packs may vary by product.
The pack contents themselves are fixed. A Mega Evolution or Scarlet & Violet Series pack holds 10 cards, 1 Basic Energy and 1 Pokemon TCG Live code card. A Sword & Shield Series pack holds 10 cards, 1 Pokemon TCG Live code card and either 1 Basic Energy or 1 VSTAR marker.
